2/28/2018 · When I first received my Edifier R2730DB speaker, I also noticed a funny burning glue smell when running it on several hours for the first time. After 4-5 days of actively playing it, the smell goes off by itself. The wooden enclosure doesn’t have that weird wood smell like what you have mentioned in the XLS-Encore .
